CONCERT:
A
Night of Auditory Healing...
Saturday
23rd July 2005
The Sydney Chamber Choir performed 'Miserere' from Allegri in an
outstanding way, with the voice and music enveloping the whole cathedral.
Up and coming talent, Veronique Serret and her violin, performed
Mozart's Violin Concerto No. 4., accompanied by the Sydney Chamber
Orchestra. Her intense concentration and connection to the concerto
moved every attendee to be able to join Veronique at another level
of musical appreciation.
Clemens Leske (winner of the ABC Young Performer of the Year) performed
Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 21 with the Sydney Chamber Orchestra.
His amazing talent transported the audience through his unique ability
to become one with the piano. The exceptional quality of the Sydney
Chamber Orchestra's musicians, united with the Sydney ChamberChoir,
enchanted our ears with Mozart's "Ave Verum" and Faure's
"In Paradisum". The concert was conducted with brillance
by David McKay.
